With Ardian's Entry, MXT Holdings Renews Its Leadership

Following Ardian's entry as the second investor alongside Mexico Infrastructure Partner (MIP), the company has renewed its leadership team, including the appointment of a new CEO. “Transforming corporate culture to foster innovation is key to growth processes,” said Néstor Bergero, CEO.

MXT Holdings’ new phase is not only characterized by the convergence of communication technologies.

Given the company’s growth prospects, the Board has appointed experienced telecommunications leaders to oversee critical areas of the organization. The new leadership team includes Néstor Bergero as CEO, Olivia Chavero as Head of Talent and Transformation; Rolando Rábago as General Counsel; Pablo Mijares, as Chief Commercial Officer; Jorge Millones as Chief Operations Officer; Francisco Correa as Chief Financial Officer; and Adrián Moreno Rico as Operations Director.

All members share a common vision for the company's growth, which is not solely driven by asset acquisitions or business mergers. A key example of its expansion strategy is the ongoing Maya Proyecto, a 400-kilometer fiber optic backbone connecting Mérida, Cancún, and Playa del Carmen.

The company has similarly ambitious infrastructure projects planned for 2026, which are expected to significantly expand its workforce, especially in regions where MXT Holdings has installed equipment.

According to Olivia Chavero, the first phase of the transformation is focused on corporate culture. “It’s about reshaping work dynamics and the mindset with which challenges are approached,” she explained. “Additionally, technological advancements are driving greater efficiency across all departments”.
